Supporting Self-sustenance during the Pandemic

 Doreen Alfred is a young woman that JACH began assisting in November of 2020. She is a young mother of two young children. JACH has supported her in gaining skills as a seamstress. She has taken sewing classes. Helping her to obtain training and equipment have allowed her great new opportunities. She completed her classes in February. She has been able to sew uniforms for her children and even pieces to sell. JACH is proud of her accomplishments. We take pride in the "teach a man to fish" approach. This time the approach has been to teach a young woman to sew.
